Privacy Policy

Last updated: 25 July 2026

1. Introduction

Expat LLC ("we", "our", "us") operates the website expat-llc.com. This page informs you of our policy regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our site, as well as the choices available to you regarding your data.

2. Data collected

We may collect the following categories of data:

  • Identification data: first name, last name, email address, when you fill in our contact form
  • Navigation data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, duration of the visit (via analytics tools)
  • Communication data: the content of the messages you send us via the contact form

3. Use of data

We use your personal data to:

  • Respond to your enquiries about our services
  • Provide you with the LLC services you have requested
  • Improve our website and our services
  • Send you information relating to your LLC (filing reminders, deadlines)
  • Comply with our legal obligations

4. Cookies and tracking technologies

Our site uses Google Analytics 4 to measure audience (number of visitors, most-visited pages, journeys through the site). No advertising is served, and no data is resold. Analytics cookies are only set after your explicit consent via the banner shown on your first visit (Google Consent Mode v2, GDPR compliance).

If you refuse tracking, Google Analytics runs in "cookieless" mode (no cookie set on your device) and only aggregated, anonymised statistics are reported.

You can change your preferences at any time:

5. Third-party services and recipients of your data

To operate, our site relies on technical providers who may, on that basis, receive some or all of your data. Here are the providers and the purpose:

  • FormSubmit (FormSubmit.co, United States): routing of messages sent via the contact form. Receives the name, email address, subject and content of your message.
  • Google Calendar (Google LLC, United States): booking of calls (discovery, scoping, onboarding). Receives the information you enter in the booking form: at least name and email address.
  • Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC, United States): audience measurement, only after your consent (see section 4).
  • Google Fonts (Google LLC, United States): display of typefaces. Google may collect some browsing data, including your IP address.
  • Supabase, Inc. (United States): authentication and database for the Member Area. Receives the account data of registered members.
  • Cloudflare, Inc. (United States): network protection and application function execution (api.expat-llc.com). Technically processes requests, including form submissions.
  • Stripe, Inc. (United States): payment processing. Receives billing data; we never have access to your card data.
  • Resend, Inc. (United States): sending transactional emails (confirmations, documents). Receives your email address and the content of the message.
  • Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany): site hosting.

These providers act as sub-processors or recipients for the purposes described above, and are not authorised to use your data for any other purpose. Since several of them are based in the United States, the corresponding transfers rely on the contractual safeguards provided by the GDPR (standard contractual clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, depending on the provider).

We encourage you to consult the privacy policies of these third-party services.

6. Affiliate links

Some links on our site are affiliate links. This means we may receive a commission if you make a purchase through those links, at no extra cost to you. For details, see our affiliate disclosure page.

7. Confidentiality and the IRS (IRC Section 7216)

As a Paid Return Preparer (PTIN P03475974), our processing of your financial and tax data is strictly regulated by US federal law, in particular Section 7216 of the Internal Revenue Code (IRC). This means:

  • We will use your data (such as bank statements, EIN, passport information) only to prepare your tax returns (Form 5472 and 1120).
  • We will never disclose or sell your tax information to third parties for marketing or other reasons.
  • Any other use will always require your express, informed written consent.

8. Data security (WISP)

In accordance with IRS guidance (Publication 4557) and FTC requirements, we have implemented a rigorous Written Information Security Plan (WISP). We apply technical security measures (disk encryption, secure access) and administrative measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction.

9. Your rights

In accordance with applicable regulations, you have the following rights:

  • Right of access: to see the data we hold about you
  • Right to rectification: to correct inaccurate data
  • Right to erasure: to request the deletion of your data
  • Right to object: to object to the processing of your data
  • Right to portability: to receive your data in a structured format

To exercise these rights, contact us at: contact@expat-llc.com

10. Data retention

We retain your personal data for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, or as long as the law requires. Data linked to LLC services is retained for the entire duration of our commercial relationship and for 5 years thereafter.

11. Changes

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time. Changes take effect as soon as they are published on this page. We encourage you to check this page regularly.
